Solare changed my life. I had never been to a recovery residence before, and I am so grateful that's where I ended up. I don't know where I'd be without the support I received there. Living at Solare allowed me to focus on my recovery while also getting my feet back on the ground. Today, at almost 5 years sober, I still have relationships in my life I built there. I will forever be grateful for Solare and my experience there.

I truly believe Solare is an anomaly in regard to women's recovery residences. The owner and COO genuinely care about their residents. In my experience as a resident, they both went above and beyond to help me navigate difficult life decisions and provide resources. I know I am not the first woman, and certainly won't be the last, that they will sacrifice their own personal time for. All they asked from me was to do the next right thing and stay sober. Solare is a special place that I was able to form long-lasting female friendships at. Because of the connections created there I have had the privilege of watching alumni obtain multiple years of sobriety, become mothers, and graduate college. Solare showed us the importance of a strong sisterhood of women who will share in the ups and downs of life.

Solare House has changed and saved my life in so many ways. I remember feeling hopeless and alone with no one to call because of the chaos I had created in my life while actively using. I was hesitant to reach out but the COO answered immediately and before I knew it I was in her car with all of my belongings. She moved me into a house that night. While a resident at Solare, I grew spiritually, learned how to live sober, be accountable and make and keep friendships with the women in the community. Making that phone call changed the trajectory of my life and I will always be grateful for Solare.

There aren't enough words in the English language to describe what Solare means to me! I went into Solare from treatment over 2 years ago and I am so grateful I did. Solare gave me a sisterhood in recovery. Whenever I needed or continue to need a helping hand, there was and is always one extended. The owner, Kirstin, is by far one of the most amazing women I have ever encountered. She truly cares for her houses and the women in them. I lived in Solare for 18 months and managed one of the houses for 6 of those months. During that time, I not only made lasting friendships but gained a family. I am forever grateful for Kirstin and Solare House for their unconditional love and support. I would not be where I am today without them. I would recommend Solare to any female wanting a fresh start and new way of life!

Solare House is a community of women in recovery. Kirstin Smith, Founder & Jordan Cairns, COO, provide a safe, secure environment with compassion and empathy for every woman. I struggled with addiction & alcoholism for 30 years before coming to Solare. I now have 2 years sober and Solare House has been instrumental on my road to recovery. Thank you Solare for believing in me when I could not.

The thought of knowing I have a safe place to lay my head down at night, knowing I have a support system to help me along the way, and seeing that I can have fun while staying sober is what Solare has given me. A safe home and an environment that gives me the opportunity to become a better woman. Even when I doubt myself the community lifts me up and always pushes me to do more with my life. I will forever be grateful to Solare for giving this addict a chance, and to all the women I've met along the way for being there in the most loving and supportive way possible. A huge thank you to Solare and all my Solare Sisters!
